California's EPIC Policy + Innovation Coordination Group

The Accelerate Group serves as the Project Coordinator for the California Public Utilities Commission's (CPUC) Policy + Innovation Coordination Group, an effort to coordinate alignment between the state's $1.5 billion in electricity research, development, and demonstration projects in the state's EPIC program and the state's energy goals.

As part of our work, we convened a series of public workstreams and public for a events to developed shared learnings around emerging research and technology innovation in the areas of transportation electrification, equity, wildfire mitigation, and public safety power shutoff events.

The Accelerate Group further developed and deployed a public-facing database for the CPUC of the state's 500+ EPIC-funded projects to increase transparency, information-sharing, and accountability for the program.
