Through The Accelerate Group, Mr. Barbeau has helped companies, governments, and not-for-profits working to advance clean tech, smart cities, innovative government and economic development projects at a local and global scale.
Mr. Barbeau founded The Accelerate Group in 2012.
Kimberly Johnston has 30 years of strategy, finance, policy, and regulatory experience in the energy sector serving in executive roles with Fortune 500 energy companies and global consulting firms.
Kimberly has a proven track record in unlocking emerging energy markets with smart policy measures, forward-thinking regulations, and novel financing structures. Kimberly is a frequent speaker at National Association of REgulatory Utility Commissions (NARUC) events and global energy conferences, and has hosted climate and energy sessions convening the public and private sector at UN COP conferences.
She previously served as the Americas Power & Utilities Partner at EY, Corporate Officer of CenterPoint Energy, and Director at Spectra Energy. She began her career with the U.S. Treasury. She was recognized as Houston’s Most Influential Women in 2017.
Tetyana Rabczak is an environmental and energy attorney, with 18+ years of experience at state government, international law firms and non-profits in the US and Europe.
Before joining The Accelerate Group, Tetyana served as a Legal Advisor to the Chairs of multiple Illinois state agencies, including the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) and the Illinois Pollution Control Board (IPCB). At the Illinois Commerce Commission, Tetyana advised regulators of investor-owned utilities in overseeing Illinois transition to the clean economy through modernization of electric distribution grid, improved interconnection of renewables and EV charging and balancing peak load though customer behavior and energy efficiency programs.
Anne McKibbin has 20 years of experience leading, developing, and supporting energy initiatives, serving as an expert witness, advising clients, managing projects and guiding policy strategy.
Anne works to help States and local governments to stand up new innovative energy programs related to clean energy, building decarbonization, clean drinking water, and workforce development. Prior to joining The Accelerate Group, Anne was the Principal Director of Policy at Elevate, a nonprofit organization that works nationally to make the benefits and services of the clean energy economy accessible to everyone. Anne has a JD from George Washington University Law School, and a Masters in Economics from Texas A&M University.
